Kidsafe is a charity which provides community support services to promote child safety, including:
- Baby capsule hire and infant carrier hire
- Child restraint fitting service and free child restraint checks
- Short-term car seat and booster hire
- Child restraints, safety gates, locks, latches and safety-proofing products for sale
- Family Day Care annual car safety checks
- Information and advice for parents and carers
- Community talks
Kidsafe is located in Pearce and has regular information vans at Dickson and Gungahlin. They are currently exploring options for translating some of their brochures into community languages and are happy to provide talks about various aspects of child safety to interested community groups.
