Nominations for the ACT Government’s Multicultural Awards are now open. Nominations close on Friday 26 September.

The ACT government is looking for champions of Canberra’s culturally diverse community – organisations and individuals who work tirelessly to promote and protect our city’s unique multicultural way of life.

The special, annual awards acknowledge the outstanding contributions of those who, in the past 12 months, have actively supported cultural diversity and made a significant impact in promoting community harmony.

Now in its fourth year, the seven award categories include: ACT Multicultural Advocate of the Year Award; Business Employer of the Year Award; Community Organisation of the Year Award; Education Award; Media Award; Public Sector Award; and Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award.

Winners will receive their beautifully presented awards at a fun-filled gala reception which will be held at the Hellenic Club at Woden on Thursday 27 November.

The process of nominating an individual or organisation is easy. Simply click onto the form at SmartyGrants
